Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams and procedures. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Responsibilities

Review patient health and dental history forms and update as necessary

Perform gentle prophylaxis to patients

Perform scaling, root planning and selective polishing for patients as appropriate

Take radiographs of patients as prescribed by dentist

Apply cavity-preventative agents, such as fluoride and sealants

Foster a friendly and comfortable environment for children to alleviate dental anxiety

Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Teach proper oral hygiene techniques to patients and parents

Clean units and help sterilize instruments

Collaborate with our team of dental professionals to ensure the best patient care

Qualifications

Current Dental Hygienist licensure in the State of Indiana

Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines

Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Schedule:

We see patients in the office on M/T/Th 8:30AM-4:30PM and W 1PM-4:30PM. Estimated full-time hours would be 30-35 hrs/week. No weekends or late nights!
