Dental Hygienist – $65–$70/hr | Flexible Schedule | No Assisted Hygiene

Let’s be honest: some parts of dental hygiene can suck.

Aching hands and backs. Feeling rushed from patient to patient. Bouncing between two chairs. Production pressure. Being expected to “sell” dentistry.

We think dental hygiene can be better than that.

We're a privately owned, doctor-led practice in Herndon that has intentionally invested in technology, our team and our culture to make hygiene a career you can enjoy for the long term.

    The basics

Pay: $65–$70/hour — hourly, not production-based Schedule: Flexible, ideally 2–3 days/week Days: Monday, Tuesday and/or Thursday Hours: 7:30–5:00 with a one-hour lunch Assisted hygiene: No. One hygienist, one patient.

Appointment times: 60 min — Adult prophy & perio maintenance 90 min — New patients & SRP

We try to make the job easier

Our hygienists have access to Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), ultrasonic/piezo instrumentation, AI-assisted imaging and documentation, and intraoral scanning.

The goal isn't technology for technology's sake. It's better patient care and less physical wear and tear on you.

There are no corporate quotas and no pressure to sell dentistry. Our hygienists participate in co-diagnosis with our doctors, and treatment recommendations are based on what's right for the patient.

    Why we're hiring

    Patient demand and practice growth.

We're fortunate to have a stable, long-term team, and we're looking for another hygienist who wants to find a professional home rather than simply another hygiene job.

We're also moving into a new office in spring 2027 with modern operatories and large windows in every treatment room.

    Who we're looking for

You don't need 10 years of experience. We welcome experienced hygienists and new graduates.

You do need an active Virginia RDH license, a commitment to excellent patient care, a willingness to learn and a desire to be part of a team.

Maybe you don't dislike dental hygiene. Maybe you just haven't found the right practice yet.

If you're tired of feeling rushed, physically worn down or pressured to produce—but you still love taking care of patients—we'd really like to meet you.

Come meet our team and decide for yourself whether dental hygiene feels different here.

Apply today. We'd love to start with a conversation.
