Hours/Days Available: Mondays P/T 7:30-5:30 (Open to flexibility) Responsibilities: • Take x-ray images of the patients’ teeth to help dentists identify any oral health issues like cavities • Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified • Provide post-operative health education to patients so they can take practice good dental care at home after procedures • Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable and taken care of before, during, and after the examination • Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay • Educate patients of all ages on how to take care of their teeth through good flossing and brushing twice daily Qualifications: • Valid CPR certification • Must have at least an associate’s degree in dental hygiene; bachelor’s degree preferred • Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures • Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines • Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene Compensation: $60 - $70 hourly
