Responsibilities: • Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease • Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated • Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment • Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily • Make patients feel at ease and taken care of before, during, and after the appointment Qualifications: • Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state • Certified to perform CPR • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines • Capable of standing all day to assist patients Compensation: $65 - $67 hourly
