About the Role:

BGOFF LEBOVITZ DENTAL ARTS is looking for a skilled and passionate Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join their team in West Orange, NJ! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a patient-focused dental practice where your expertise and care make a real difference in people's smiles every day.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine dental cleanings and oral prophylaxis treatments for patients

Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and document findings in patient charts

Take and review dental X-rays and radiographs as needed

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care

Screen patients for oral health conditions including gum disease and oral cancer

Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans

Maintain a clean, sterilized, and OSHA-compliant treatment environment with Dental Assistant help

Requirements:

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of New Jersey

Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program

Current CPR/BLS certification

Experience with dental practice management software is a plus (Dentrix)

Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care

Excellent chairside manner with the ability to put patients at ease

Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
