About the Role:

Simply Smiles Dental LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in West Valley City, UT! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives by delivering exceptional preventive dental care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures for patients of all ages

Double booked with dedicated assistant

Pay DOE ~$48 -$50/hr

Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal evaluations and charting

Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with office protocols

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies

Document patient records accurately and maintain up-to-date clinical notes

Collaborate with the dentist to develop and communicate individualized patient treatment plans

Sterilize and prepare instruments and operatory in compliance with infection control standards

Requirements:

Active Utah Dental Hygienist license in good standing

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Current CPR/BLS certification

Experience with dentrix software preferred

Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental office
