    Outgoing, motivated dental hygienist wanted for fun, quality driven practice in beautiful Willoughby, OH. We are an unconventional, digital office that offers longer appointments so that optimal care can be delivered to our patients. We are seeking a dental hygienist that is well versed in core hygiene principles and soft tissue management, someone who can take initiative without constant guidance. We are flexible with a 1 to 3 day schedule with flexible hours. New graduates are welcome to apply. No evenings or weekends!

    Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene

    Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in Ohio

    Current CPR certification

    1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice preferred but not required

    Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment

    Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices

    Dentrix Ascend or other dental software experience is preferred

    CBCT knowledge

    Responsibilities

    Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.

    Conduct dental imaging procedures as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

    Maintain accurate dental records and update patient information in Dentrix Ascend.

    Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.

    Assist the dentist during examinations.

    Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

    Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.

    Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.

    Requirements

    Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.

    Proficiency in using dental imaging equipment and software.

    Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.

    Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures.

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients.

    Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
