You’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough, dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. Responsibilities: • Protect patients’ teeth by thoroughly cleaning them and applying fluoride or other sealants • Clean dental instruments to ensure everything is sterilized properly • Create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so veneers, mouthguards, etc. can be made correctly • Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease • Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history Qualifications: • 1-2 years of work experience as a dental hygienist • Capable of standing all day to assist patients • Must have at least an associate’s degree in dental hygiene; bachelor’s degree preferred • Certified to perform CPR • Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located Compensation: $55-58 hourly + Bonus
