Responsibilities: • Aid dentists by deliberating the best way to treat a variety of dental disease • Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history • Educate patients of all ages on how to take care of their teeth through good flossing and brushing twice daily • Advise patients on how to properly care for their teeth after a procedure or operation • Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible Qualifications: • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state • Valid CPR certification • 1-2 years of work experience as a dental hygienist • Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines Compensation: $35 - $40 hourly
