    Advanced Clinical Dental Hygienist – Periodontics (Boutique Specialty Practice)

    This is not a traditional dental hygiene position.

    We are seeking an exceptional, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to step into an advanced clinical role within a boutique, fee-for-service periodontal practice in Chevy Chase, MD.

    In this role, you will work side-by-side with a board-certified periodontist, participating in consultations, treatment planning, surgical support, and comprehensive case management. This position is ideal for a hygienist who is intellectually curious, clinically driven, and eager to practice at the top of their license in a specialty setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    Conduct comprehensive new-patient consultations, including medical history review and periodontal assessments

    Educate patients on periodontal disease, treatment options, and post-operative care with clarity and confidence

    Assist the periodontist with treatment planning and maintain meticulous case documentation

    Administer local anesthesia and provide clinical support during surgical procedures

    Collaborate closely with the periodontist and team to deliver exceptional, concierge-level patient care

    The Ideal Candidate

    Registered Dental Hygienist (MD-licensed or eligible)

    Strong interest in periodontics, surgery, and advanced clinical care

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and build patient trust

    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with case-based workflows

    A team-oriented professional who values excellence, growth, and accountability

    Eager to learn, grow, and take ownership of an elevated clinical role

    Position Details

    Location: Chevy Chase, MD

    Schedule: Monday–Thursday (4 days/week), 7:45 AM – 5:30 PM

    Compensation: Competitive and experience-based, with benefits and performance-based bonus structure
