    DUTIES

    • Perform dental cleaning, polishing, scaling, restorations.
    • Take digital X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
    • Provide instructions and evaluation as needed per patients on oral hygiene practices and post treatment care.
    • Ability to apply fluoride and prescribed topical medications, sprays or rinses.
    • Assist the dentist during procedures effectively.
    • Remove plaque from patient gumline
    • Maintain proper condition of clinical area and dental equipment.
    • Perform initial examination of teeth and tissue and periodontal pockets.
    • Maintain records of and patient data as needed
    • Monitor procedures, review patient history, record vital analysis
    • Maintain all continuing education requirements as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned and within scope of practice and role.
    • Other duties as required within scope of license and patient care

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    • Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) or Licensed Dental Hygienist (LDH) in the state of Missouri required.
    • 1-2 years minimum of hands on work experience as Dental Hygienist preferred but not required
    • Familiar with EMR (electronic medical records)
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health needs.
    • Comfortable working with patients of all ages

    COMPENSATION

    • $40/hr - $55/hr
    • Competitive Total Compensation based on experience and skills
