Seeking a vibrant and bubbly personality to join our amazing team in caring for our patients through dental hygiene care, education and treatment plan coordination and presentation. Bilingual in Spanish and English in a plus.

Responsibilities

Enthusiastically welcome patients and make them feel comfortable

Educate and discuss the dental care plan with patients

Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories

Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories

Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease

Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments

Teach good oral hygiene techniques

Take x-rays if needed

Assist dentist during procedures and exams if needed

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred

Current Dental Hygienist licensure

At least 6 months of experience in dental hygiene

Excellent communication and customer service skills
