About the Role:

Comfort Dental Thompson Valley in Loveland, CO is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Verification Specialist to join our front office team. This is a key role where you'll help ensure patients receive a seamless experience from the moment they schedule their appointment. Responsibilities:

Multitask in a busy environment

Lead and oversee the dental insurance verification process for all incoming patients

Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and coverage details with dental insurance carriers prior to appointments

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records within the practice management software

Coordinate with billing and scheduling teams to resolve insurance discrepancies

Monitor verification workflows to ensure timely completion and minimize claim denials

Requirements:

Candidates should have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of PPOs and Medicaid

1-2 years of dental insurance verification or dental front office experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)

Reliability and flexibility are required

Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix)

Excellent communication and patient-facing customer service skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to delegate and support a team in a busy dental office setting

High school diploma or equivalent required; dental administrative certification a plus
