Lead Dental Office Manager / Director of Operations

Multi-Location | Windermere & Hamlin (Winter Garden), FL

We are seeking an experienced, high-level Dental Office Manager to serve as the Lead Office Manager / Director of Operations for three established dental practices located in Windermere and Hamlin (Winter Garden), Florida—two general dentistry offices and one pediatric dentistry office. All locations are within a short drive of one another in West Orlando.

This role is designed for a dental office professional who is a true expert in office management and ready to step into a senior leadership position with real authority and responsibility.

    Customer Service Is the Foundation

Our practices are built on exceptional customer service and high-quality dentistry. Patient experience is a non-negotiable core value and must be a defining strength of the candidate.

The Lead Office Manager is expected to:

Set the standard for patient communication and front-office professionalism

Train office managers and teams to deliver a consistently excellent patient experience

Ensure systems and workflows support efficiency without compromising service

If customer service excellence is not central to how you lead, this role will not be a fit.

    About the Practices

Three privately owned dental practices in Windermere and Hamlin (Winter Garden)

Two general dentistry offices and one pediatric dentistry office

Less than 20 total employees across all locations

Owned by two dentist partners who have worked together for nearly 20 years

One owner is an actively practicing dentist and lead clinician at one location

One owner is semi-retired from clinical dentistry with 30+ years of experience and fills in as needed

    The Role

This is not a typical office manager position.

You will serve as the highest-level non-clinical operations leader across all three practices.

All office managers report directly to you

You are the final authority on office systems, workflows, and standards

You will implement, maintain, and enforce the standards outlined in the office manual

When office managers need guidance or support, you are the expert

    Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and train office managers across all locations

Ensure consistent, high-level customer service and patient experience

Standardize front-office operations including scheduling, insurance, collections, and AR

Monitor performance metrics and proactively address inefficiencies

Hold managers accountable while supporting their growth and development

Serve as the primary operational liaison between ownership and office management

Step in operationally when support is needed to maintain continuity and excellence

    Qualifications

Extensive experience in dental office management (multi-location experience strongly preferred)

Proven ability to lead, train, and hold other managers accountable

Strong customer service mindset with the ability to train teams on patient experience

Deep knowledge of dental scheduling, insurance, collections, and workflows

    Highly organized, decisive, and solutions-driven

Comfortable working across both general dentistry and pediatric dentistry environments
