    Job Summary: The Dental Receptionist plays a key role in providing excellent customer service, coordinating appointments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy office setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive check-in/check-out experience

    Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments via phone, email, and scheduling software

    Verify insurance coverage and handle billing questions

    Collect co-pays and payments; manage daily transactions

    Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)

    Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to optimize workflow

    Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and efficiently

    Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming

    Requirements:

    Bilingual (Spanish/English) required

    High school diploma or equivalent (some college or relevant certification a plus)

    Prior experience in a dental or medical office preferred

    Familiarity with dental software Eaglesoft is a plus

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Professional appearance and demeanor

    Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
