    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist/Office Manager to join our small dental family. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and ensure a smooth patient experience from the moment they step into our office. Compassionate patient care is our #1 priority!

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet patients and answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

    • Manage the front desk, including scheduling appointments and handling patient records.

    • Utilize our phone systems and electronic dental records (EMRs) including Dentrix and Weave.

    • Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical history and insurance information.

    -Coordinate care, submit claims and preauthorizations for patient reimbursement.

    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

    • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including restocking supplies and restocking the waiting room.

    • Provide patients with instructions for in-office procedures and answer any questions they may have.

    • Monitor and manage patient flow throughout the day.

    • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.

    • Assist with administrative tasks.

    • Manage AR, AP and billing.

    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the clinic.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    • Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting.

    • Strong knowledge of medical and dental terminology and HIPAA guidelines.

    • Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records (EMRs).

    • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
