    Dental Treatment Coordinator Job Duties

    Explain treatment plans and options to patients, ensuring they understand the recommended procedures, associated costs, and available payment plans.

    Coordinate appointment schedules for patients undergoing multiple treatments, optimizing the use of the dentist’s and dental hygienists’ time while minimizing patient wait times.

    Liaise with dental insurance companies to verify benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and ensure claims are submitted accurately and promptly for patient treatments.

    Process patient payments and manage billing, including setting up payment plans in accordance with office policies.

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

    Facilitate communication between the dental team and patients, acting as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries related to treatment plans and scheduling.

    Monitor and order dental office supplies, ensuring the clinic is well-stocked with necessary materials for treatments without exceeding budget constraints.

    Organize and participate in community outreach programs to promote dental health awareness and the services offered by the dental practice.
