Currently, we are looking for a DENTAL AUDITOR (Private Pay Collector).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Dental Auditor (Private Pay Collector) will support our dental offices and their patients by making outgoing and fielding incoming phone calls, to collect patient payments. The incumbent will make requested changes to the ledgers and ensure that patients are billed and charged accurately according to office request. The incumbent will demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor when dealing with customers and office staff, while remaining confident and assertive.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• At least 1 year of related work experience
• Experience in a medical/dental setting and/or accounts receivable and collections required
• Strong computer skills and demonstrated competence in MS Office, Word, Excel software applications
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain working knowledge of the existing payment options available to assist in securing payment
• Process changes to payment plans across multiple programs to coordinate accurately
• Partner with field offices to assist in securing balances
• Maintain working knowledge of the office ledger in order to solve complex payment and billing issues
• Interface with customers by taking incoming calls in regards to payment if needed
• Maintain appropriate standards of quality in phone calls and processing
• Communicate issues and suggestions to improve processes
• Participate in committees, special projects, staff meetings, and team huddles as requested
• Maintains an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with Company policies
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodies
• Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager, Regional Manager, and/or Leadership team
