    Little Lights Dentistry is seeking a general dentist with pediatric experience to join our fast-growing practice in Stuart, Florida. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in treating children, demonstrate effective behavioral management techniques, and be compassionate and skilled in a variety of general and pediatric dental procedures.

    Little Lights Dentistry offers free dental care for uninsured, low-income children from their first birthday through high school graduation. We are a modern, state-of-the-art, paperless office with advanced technology, providing quality pediatric dental care in a welcoming environment.

    This is a full-time position working up to 32 hours per week, with a competitive salary and benefits, reporting to the Presiding Dentist.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide comprehensive dental care to patients from their first birthday through high school graduation.

    Perform procedures including exams, restorations, pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, extractions, and the application of sealants and fluoride.

    Qualifications Holds a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school, is licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Florida, and must:

    Not be excluded from participation in federal health care programs.

    Demonstrate a special interest and experience in pediatric dentistry.

    Hold an active Florida license to administer nitrous oxide to children.

    Maintain a current controlled-substance registration certificate with the State of Florida.

    Demonstrate the ability to maintain Sovereign Immunity protection under the Florida Department of Health, Volunteer Health Care Provider Program.

    Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

    Demonstrate a strong passion for providing dentistry to uninsured, low-income children, idealism, integrity, a positive attitude, and self-direction.

    Provide documentation of receipt of the first shot for Hepatitis B upon hire, with the completion of the series of the Hepatitis B Immunization within six (6) months from their date of employment of their first shot, which occurs first, or sign the declination form.

    Hire contingent upon satisfactory completion of a Level II background check.
