Job Description
As a supporting part of the Studio team, the Studio/Video Intern will be fully immersed in the discipline of Production to build and strengthen their fundamental skills in the practice within an integrated agency setting. The video studio intern works in support of the video production team. Working and assisting
Editors, Animators, and Producers. From production kick-off through delivery, you will learn the total production lifecycle and inner workings within a fast-paced, integrated agency setting. The ideal intern is self-starting, curious, and resourceful. They strive to flawlessly execute the work and relentlessly pursue the highest level of craft. Our interns are assigned to work and projects that are applicable during their time at the agency. Responsibilities may include:
Loading, breakdowns, audio syncing, pulling selects
Assist Editors in video editing, building assemblies
Project prep for finishing sessions
Color, mix, conform
Project archival
Store files and organize archives
After Effects: comping, graphics, titles
SFx, music and stock footage research
Posting, updating, and maintaining links of video/audio files
Organize, maintain, backup, and restore media files
Qualifications
Exceptional undergraduate, graduate students, recent grads, or those with relevant work experience
High proficiency in Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Photoshop
Must be responsible, organized, self-motivated, passionate, and have a positive attitude
Camera/lighting/production knowledge a plus
Able to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects in a fast-paced deadline driven environment and deliver quality results
Embody professional, proactive, and collaborative behavior that mirrors the dentsu values
Passionate about the discipline, the team, and the company
Open and willing to learn new things and take on projects and tasks that have not been managed before
Note: Employee is responsible for other duties as assigned.
Education:
Full-time rising junior or rising senior, currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited 4-year College or University
Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program which aligns with the position such as Advertising, Marketing, Communications or Business Management
Experience:
0-12 months experience in integrated agency environment as an intern or full-time employee is preferred, including traffic or team coordinating abilities
Legally authorized to work in the US
