    Job Description

    The purpose of this role is to assist the Commercial Finance team in delivering timely and accurate information to the business through analysis of client and practice group performance. The role will utilise financial analysis techniques to provide insight, analysis and trends on critical business issues impacting the day-to-day performance of a client and practice group for consideration by senior stakeholders.

    It requires a dedicated individual, with a strong understanding of financial matters, and close attention to detail.

    The key responsibilities of the role are to support the Commercial Finance function through:

    • Collecting and analyzing financial information to support commercial decision making
    • Identifies and monitors underlying drivers of cost and revenue variances between actual expenditure vs. forecast/budget, highlighting issues and margin impact where necessary
    • Works proactively with the business to analyse and build the forecasts, improves data capture and process and helps generate useful insight to share with the business
    • Supports the business in their development of short, medium and long-term resourcing requirements
    • Provides analytical support focused around obtaining the optimal balance of pricing, early payment discounts, rebates and volume commitments
    • Participates on bid teams for pitches and new business driving appropriate commercial terms, pricing and profitability
    • Supplies ad-hoc financial information and analysis as and when required
    • Drive profit improvement by partnering with our Client Service team to manage revenue, resources/costs, and client level P&Ls

    Work with Client Service and FP&A on various client financial analysis including monthly close variances, pricing scenarios, staffing and time reporting, service channels, Salesforce/pipeline, any reporting required by client

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Relevant finance / accounting qualification.
    • Commercially minded with a natural ability to identify issues and create solutions.
    • Ability to interact with senior internal and external stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and perform tasks under tight deadlines
    • Naturally curious to interrogate and validate financial information.
    • Self-starter, highly motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines through excellent project management skills.
    • Ability to explain financial information to non-financial people.
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.

    Additional Information

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-152,375. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
