Responsibilities:

Customer Service.

Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.

Assist in planning for sales and major holiday or promotional events (i.e. Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.).

Assist in training and developing store staff with goals for growth and success in their departments.

Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly.

Dust and face your department.

Customer Service. (No, I didn't accidentally type it twice)

Work overstock frequently.

Ensure all labels in your area are up-to-date.

Maintain the cleanliness of your area.

Be or become knowledgeable in your area.

Assisting in other areas as needed.

All personnel must be able to operate the cash register as needed. (It is needed a lot)

Will learn how to mix paint.

Will learn how to cut keys.

Qualifications:

Be a self motivator. You won't always have someone to watch over you or to work beside.

Ability to stand for an extended period of time.

Able to walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties.

Move and handle merchandise and fixtures up to 40 pounds.

Must be able to go up and down a ladder, unassisted, several times a day.

Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Preferably be able to work any hours that we are open, up to 40 hours per week.

Job Summary

As a Department Lead in Rocky Mountain True Value you will be an integral part of our team. You will be required to attend a once monthly store meeting after store hours. There will be times when you are isolated in your area and must be able to perform all of your tasks alone. There will be times that you may have assistance as well. You will be responsible for all dusting and facing in your area. You will be responsible for maintaining your overstock as well. Labels in your department are up to you to put out. This job is as easy as you can make it for yourself.
