  • Responsibilities

    The New Washington State Bank is looking for a talented, detail oriented and organized Deposit Operations Representative to add to our team! This position will be responsible for the various day-to-day internal back-end processes performed by our Deposit Operations Department. In addition, this position will also provide both internal and external support by assisting bank customers and staff.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Accepts and processes a variety of financial transactions such as: stop payments, wires, sweeps, transfers, alerts, ACH, etc.

    Balances and reviews numerous bank accounts/reports including but not limited to: Deposit, Savings, General Ledger, IRA, CD, Safe Deposit Box, and Dormant Accounts.

    Answers telephone calls from customers and branch personnel and assists them in a timely accurate manner.

    Performs maintenance to update customer and account information.

    Processes and researches ATM and Debit Card Disputes.

    Reviews Non-Sufficient Fund accounts.

    Files and Scans Deposit Operations documentation.

    Performs daily responsibilities to maintain the efficient operations of the department.

    Follows all company policies and practices.

    Ability to work in a team environment, interacting well, and in a positive manner, with coworkers and management.

    Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding all aspects of The New Washington State Bank.

    Ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgment in decision-making and diplomacy and tact in problem resolution weighing customer satisfaction issues with Bank exposure to loss or fraud.

    Education and Experience

    High School Diploma or GED equivalent
