    Job Title: Deposition Clerk – Litigation Department
    Location: Burbank, CA (On-site)
    Job Type: Full-Time
    Hourly Pay: $22 - $25, DOE

    Position Summary:

    The Deposition Clerk will play a key role in supporting the Litigation Department by managing the scheduling, attorney coordination, calendaring, noticing to opposing counsel, and serving of depositions for wage & hour, wrongful termination, discrimination, and other employment law cases. This position requires excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external parties to ensure depositions are scheduled accurately and timely.

    Essential Functions of the Role Include, But Are Not Limited To:

    • Manage and maintain the litigation deposition calendar to ensure daily scheduling goals are met
    • Schedule depositions and coordinate logistics with in-house attorneys, opposing counsel, clients, and court reporting services
    • Track and update all deposition deadlines to ensure compliance with discovery timelines and court orders
    • Distribute deposition notices, Zoom links, addresses, and other related documentation to all parties
    • Communicate effectively with litigation attorneys, legal assistants, and case managers to ensure streamlined coordination
    • Request deposition transcripts as needed and ensure timely delivery and distribution to the legal team
    • Process deposition-related invoices.
    • Maintain organized records of all calendared depositions, communications, and related materials
    • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries regarding scheduling and deposition logistics
    • Remain informed of any updates to deposition procedures in employment and civil litigation to ensure firm-wide compliance
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in legal studies or a paralegal certificate is a plus
    • Previous experience in a legal setting, preferably in employment law, civil litigation, or personal injury
    • Previous experience scheduling and noticing litigation depositions is a plus
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with calendar management or legal case management software
    • Understanding of California civil litigation procedures is highly desirable
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a fast-paced team
