About the Role:

Elite Dermatology PLLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in the Heights area of Houston, TX. Responsibilities:

Room patients and document medical histories in the EMR system

Assist dermatology providers during skin exams, biopsies, and cosmetic procedures

Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and supply stocking

Educate patients on skincare treatments, medications, and post-procedure care instructions

Manage patient flow and support front-to-back office communication for efficient scheduling

Administer injections and assist with minor surgical procedures under provider supervision

Requirements:

Prior experience in dermatology, primary care, or a clinical setting strongly preferred

Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and clinical documentation

Knowledge of dermatology procedures, skin care products, and terminology is a plus

Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first attitude

Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume clinical environment

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
