GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The LIMS Engineer will join the Software Engineering Team in the Laboratory Operations Department at DermTech. The LIMS Engineer reports to the Director of Software Engineering.
The Software Engineering Team is a small group of experienced professionals responsible for developing pragmatic software solutions to enable DermTech to scale laboratory operations to keep pace with growing demand for our products. The Software Engineering Team streamlines laboratory processes by developing laboratory automation, analytics pipelines, and integrating with enterprise LIS, CRM and ERP systems.
DermTech employs a combination of commercially available, and custom software to achieve its goals. We focus on code testability, maintainability, and documentation to develop stable and robust solutions.
