    ABOUT DERMTECH:

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION

    Under supervision of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Liaison will act as the focal point for client issues, questions, and concerns, as well as support other laboratory functions.

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Take incoming inquiries from clients via phone or email to provide information and consult about DermTech's products and services. • Document client orders and accounts into the Laboratory Information System, Xifin • Record complaints and inquiries from clients. • Ensure complaints and inquiries are resolved through pro-active follow-through with clients and stakeholders. • Help create and revise procedures as instructed by the Customer Service Manager. • Support laboratory administration duties, as needed. • Adhere to procedures and successfully complete laboratory training and competency. • Other duties, as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School diploma or equivalent; AA/AS or BA/BS preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 3+ years of prior experience in customer service is required; experience supporting clinical laboratory operations in a client service role is highly preferred.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and maintain production and quality standards determined by the clinical laboratory.
    • Computer skills including proficiency with MS Office applications
    • Knowledge of general CLIA laboratory processes is preferred but not required.
    • Ability to maintain production and quality standards determined by the clinical laboratory.
    • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks frequently as required throughout the day.
    • Follows policies and procedures to complete a variety of tasks; works on semi-routine assignments where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required; receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
