Compensation: $120,000 - $156,000 Annual Salary

Position Description for Dermatology Nurse Practitioner:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dermatology Nurse Practitioner for our Nursing Homes in Hamden, CT. This role is focused on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered dermatological care at the bedside, ensuring residents receive timely, effective, and high-quality treatment within a collaborative clinical environment. This is a full-time, in-person position Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

Qualifications for Dermatology Nurse Practitioner:

• Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of CT
• Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in dermatology in a nursing home setting.
• Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices.
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations.

As the nurse practitioner you will be at the forefront of providing top-quality care to our residents. In this role, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team and physicians to ensure that all of our residents receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities for Dermatology Nurse Practitioner:

• Duties will include routine and general dermatology.
• Examine patients and their medical records.
• Provide Primary and preventive care to patients with skin health issues.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic skin conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications.
