This is a part time position with flexible schedule options to be discussed with the successful applicant and will obtain up to 20 hours per week. Compensation will be provided on an hourly basis with productivity based compensation considered as well. Licensure and malpractice insurance covered by the practice and $1,000 CME annually. Potential to convert to full time as the practice grows and patient load increases.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced dermatology nurse practitioner (DNP) or physician assistant to join our team at Green Dermatology in Milford Delaware! As a DNP, you will see several patients each day, going over their medical history, and conducting or prescribing tests as necessary to determine their root issues. You will also be diagnosing and treating the patient, prescribing medication, and offering lifestyle advice to avoid further issues, as needed. The ideal candidate has a compassionate, patient-focused approach to medicine, is comfortable seeing multiple patients in a single day, and has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Order tests and interpret the results, providing clarity to the patient

Diagnose and treat patient issues, which may include minor skin surgery, prescribing medication, or offering lifestyle changes

Maintain excellent records of patient interactions, medical issues, and treatment solutions

Qualifications

Must be able to legally practice medicine within the state

Excellent communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The ability to read and interpret test results, while effectively communicating those to a patient

Experience with cosmetic/aesthetic dermatology services such as blue light therapy and performing laser treatments is a plus
