Deseret Power is accepting resumes for the position of Quantitative Analyst Intern. This position is located in Deseret's corporate offices in South Jordan, Utah (suburb of Salt Lake City) and may require occasional travel to offsite meetings. Primary responsibilities will be to perform: - Load forecasting - Energy market analysis - Database development/dataset management - Data visualization and reporting Qualified applicant should have course experience in economics, statistics, operations research and some computer programming. In addition, the successful candidate will be familiar with VB/VBA, Python, SQL and R (or comparable programming languages and analytical tools) along with Microsoft Office. This internship is a compensated position which is expected to provide the successful candidate with valuable experience in the energy industry over the summer of 2019.
