    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our team. The Veterinary Technician Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of our veterinary clinic. This position requires excellent leadership skills, strong veterinary technician expertise, and a passion for providing high-quality care to animals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of veterinary technicians, ensuring compliance with protocols, maintaining inventory, and promoting a positive work environment. Responsibilities: • Supervision and Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the veterinary technician team, including training, and performance management under the direction of the Hospital Manager. • Clinical Support: Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, surgeries, and examinations as needed, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. • Workflow Management: Coordinate and optimize workflow to ensure efficient clinic operations, including patient intake, discharge, and follow-up appointments. • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with veterinary standards and regulations. (e.g Review patient medical records to pinpoint • technician development areas). • Inventory Management: Participate in inventory control. • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions. • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and mentorship to veterinary technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge. • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise within the veterinary technician team or clinic operations. • Collaboration: Collaborate with veterinarians, administrative staff, and other team members to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to patients. • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including record-keeping, documentation, and safety protocols. Qualifications: • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent experience is required. • 3+ years of experience working as a veterinary technician in a clinical setting. • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role. • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. • Proficiency in veterinary medical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory techniques, and diagnostic imaging. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and veterinarians. • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. • Genuine compassion for animals and a commitment to providing the highest level of care and comfort to patients. • Collaborative attitude with a willingness to work closely with others to achieve common goals. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations with poise and professionalism. Compensation: $25 - $29 hourly
