    Join the Food & Beverage team at one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, Desert Mountain Club, as an Expeditor!

    In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating ongoing communication between the culinary and service staff ensuring the food meets plate presentation standards for consistency of quality and portions and is delivered to guests in accordance to service standards.

    The ideal individual will be a team player with a sense of urgency yet calming presence, great attitude, and strong work ethic. Working knowledgeable of food and culinary techniques is a must. Prior food and beverage experience is preferred.

    *This is seasonal position starting in October and ending May 2021.

    JOB DETAILS

    Essential Duties:

    Ensure plated food item follows ticket guidelines, menu description, etc.

    Ensure expo line is stocked with necessary dishware, perishable goods, garnish, etc.

    Appropriately communicate and answers questions regarding menu items, garnishes, plating, etc.

    Maintain knowledge and understand all food menu items, dietary restrictions, and modifications.

    Act as liaison between Heart of House and Front of House.

    Maintain a high-level dining experience with the mindset that we’re a family serving family.

    Utilize name recognition and personalized service in order to maintain raving fans.

    Practice three steps of service – warm welcome, friendly service, and fond farewell.

    Direct feedback, questions, and comments to appropriate manager or department.

    Perform and prioritize opening and closing side work continually throughout the shift.

    Prepare final bill and present to member, ensuring signature.

    Maintain clean service areas, professional appearance of all clubhouse facilities.

    Proactively assist other team members and fellow teammates, as needed.

    Communicate effectively with management and club personnel in a timely manner.

    Maintain a professional relationship with all employees and members.

    Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.

    Use L.A.S.T when solving challenges – Listen, Apologize, Solve, and Thank.

    Participate in educational opportunities to continue expanding knowledge and stay abreast of food and beverage trends.

    Attend scheduled meetings.

    Other duties as assigned by management.
