In this role, you will assist the Recreation Department in running member events and activities to include, but not limited to, youth activities, camps, outdoor adventures, bocce ball, and social events, all while providing exceptional customer service. You will report director to the Youth Activities & Recreation Manager, Youth Activities Supervisor, and Lifestyle Activities Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, personable, and passionate about creating exceptional experiences for others. Prior experience in a club environment with member engagement and a current CPR Certification is required. Prior sports experience is preferred.

JOB DETAILS
Essential Duties:
Assist with outdoor adventures and events.
Assist with member social events.
Assist the Youth Activities in planning and overseeing youth activities. This includes, but is not limited to, supervising, working one-on-one, and providing instruction to the children through various activities.
Assist the Lifestyle Activities Supervisor with the Bocce and Croquet lessons, events, and leagues.
Referee the bocce games, ensuring members participating in the league are staying on time and following league rules, answering member questions, and assisting with setup and breakdown of events.
Run league games by monitoring game timers, announcing standings, keeping members informed whose turn it is, measuring, and scoring.
Understand and maintain knowledge all bocce league rules and regulations. Answer member questions about the rules of bocce and the Desert Mountain Bocce Leagues.
Perform set up and break down of the event to include, but not limited to, the sport equipment, sweeping the bocce courts before each match, and food and beverage offerings.
Provide exceptional customer service to create memorable and unique experiences this includes the use of name recognition.
Continuously monitor and “walk the member experience” to ensure Sonoran is viewed as a world-class facility.
Assist all departments within Sonoran, as needed. Serve as an active team member within all departments of Sonoran, understanding how each department operates in order to help during peak times of business.
Ensure child safety and monitor their activities.
Follow safety and emergency procedures and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned by management.
