In this role, you will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of member events and activities at the Sonoran Clubhouse with a focus on outdoor adventures while driving the company’s mission by providing an exceptional experience for our members. These activities include biking, hiking, kayaking, SUP, lifestyle activities, Family Activities, Social Recreational Events and the creation of new activity offerings. ln addition, serve as a utility employee for all areas of the Sonoran Clubhouse. You will report directly to the Youth Activities & Recreation Manager.
The ideal candidate will be a team player and adventure seeker with excellent people skills and a passion for creating exceptional experiences for others. At least 1-3 years experience of programming and coordinating activities, experience leading outdoor recreation activities, such as hiking and biking, and a current CPR Certification is required.

JOB DETAILS
Essential Duties:
Oversee, organize, and execute all Ranch events and outdoor activities, including but not limited to hiking, biking, horseback riding, glamping, and off-property excursions. This includes promotions and registration.
Create memorable and unique events to achieve maximum participation by adding wow factors and providing exceptional customer service.
Develop marketing campaigns and promote social events and activities. Continuously monitor the campaigns, and stay abreast of new marketing tactics and promotions. Work closely with the Graphic Designer to create the marketing materials.
Drive a company vehicle for off-property excursions.
Responsible for all coordination, execution, billing and follow up of each event.
Assist with Food and Beverage setup and service during events.
Assist with member social events.
Assist with the Bocce and Croquet lessons, events, and leagues, as needed.
Assist with youth activities, camps, and events, as needed.
Work closely with the Youth and Outdoor Recreation Manager and serve as a member liaison for all new programs, member offerings, and seminars held at Sonoran or the Ranch. Ensure timely follow up and thorough explanation to the membership for all new activity offerings.
Continuously monitor and “walk the member experience” to ensure Sonoran is viewed as a world-class facility.
Assist all departments within Sonoran, as needed. Serve as an active team member within all departments of Sonoran, understanding how each department operates in order to help during peak times of business.
