In this role, you will play a key role in executing an exceptional experience to the restaurant's guests and members! You will be responsible for assisting the restaurant servers by providing a positive guest interaction in a friendly and efficient manner, clear and clean tables, appropriately stock all areas of the restaurant, and run food.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. A passion for delivering an excellent guest experience is required. Prior restaurant and/or country club experience is a plus.

*This is a seasonal position ending in May 2021.

JOB DETAILS

Essential Duties:

Re-set tables and ensure tables and chairs are free of food particles and water spots. Set tables with clean linens, china, silverware and glassware with attention to proper positioning of each.

Remove dirty dishes from dining room and carry them to the dishwashing area. Remove remaining food into appropriate waste bin and load them into appropriate racks for washing.

Stock side stations with silverware, china, glass, ice and any other items that may be needed.

Check on tables during service hours and provide water refills and clearing of dishes. Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to server as needed.

Pour coffee, replenish rolls and butter.

Familiar with the table sequence of the dining room.

Exhibit a professional attitude and maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.

Remain on dining room floor to be available and visible as much as possible.

Assist in function set-up and tear-down.

Provide exceptional service with a warm welcome, name recognition, and fond farewell.

Restroom checks. Ensure cleanliness and restock items.

Assist with food delivery, as needed.

Uses L.A.S.T. when solving challenges - Listen, Apologize, Solve, and Thank.

Attend all scheduled meetings.

Other duties as assigned by leadership.
