    Join the Golf team at one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, Desert Mountain Club, as a Golf Ambassador for the Junior Golf Program!

    In this role, you will be responsible for inspiring curiosity, immersive play, and self-guided exploration. This includes, but is not limited to, junior golf content creation; clinic and camp registrations, pricing, storage, and display; maintaining and updating junior golf resource page, marketing, assisting with youth activities days and billing. Work collaboratively to cultivate unforgettable member and guest experiences by representing our team and affiliations positively, continuously improving and developing your knowledge to get results, and identifying custom solutions.

    The ideal candidate will be personable and proactive with excellent communication skills and a talent for inspiring others. At least 1-3 years of experience in junior golf development is required.

    JOB DETAILS

    Essential Duties:

    Provide courteous and enthusiastic service to all members, guests, and fellow employees.

    Assist Director of Performance Center & Instruction and Head of Junior Golf Development with training and development of professional golf staff.

    Work closely with Marketing and Communication Team to actively promote products and services on a monthly, and often weekly, basis, includes writing copy and sourcing images.

    Coordinate with Youth Activities & Recreation Manager and Director of Racquet Sports with scheduling and junior programming.

    Assist the Head of Junior Golf Development in planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Continue to grow and develop within the guidelines of 501(c)7 tax status.

    Actively coordinate with Head Professional, Clubhouse Manager, and Outside Player Services of host club with number of participants and additional resources.

    Communicate any changes or new policies and procedures to the relevant department.

    Answer all telephone calls and respond to all emails.

    Attend staff meetings.

    Assist with all day-to-day golf operations, as needed.

    Other duties as assigned.
