MARKETING ASSISTANT – ARCHITECTURE FIRM
Design Appruv, Inc. is a rapidly growing Architectural Drafting and Design studio looking for a Marketing Assistant with strong strategic development and communication skills with a passion to learn! Our proprietary architectural design process for Custom Homes, Residential Remodels Additions, Accessory Dwelling Units, Granny Flats and Commercial Projects emphasizes building code compliance to ensure we can provide seamless design and construction services. The ideal candidate must be experienced and ready to adapt quickly to different scenarios and work amongst a collaborative team of design professionals.
PRE-REQUISITE REQUIREMENT –
- Bachelors degree in relevant field (Business Degree)
- At least 3-5 years minimum Marketing experience in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, Sales and/or Engineering (required)
- At least 3-5 years minimum working experience reporting to Executive Management
- PC skills in Windows environment to include Google Suite, including Excel, Word, Google Docs, Sheets (required), ADOBE SUITE – INDESIGN, ILLUSTRATOR (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Phone, Email, In-Person)
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision
- Ability to multitask and prioritize problem solving in a timely manner
- Outgoing, ambitious, pro-active, rigidly organized, and excellent time management skills (required)
- Proficient in email campaigns, "ghost" and copyright blogs, and schedule and preserve vlogs w/ our marketing coordinator
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Manage and develop strategies to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets
- Memorize, perfect, and influence provided sales pitch
- Ensure that leads are handled properly, timely, and with appropriate follow-up timelines and deadline establishment
- Perform and prepare detailed research and summaries of current industry offerings, specialized products and competition
- Ability to establish and “read” potential client interests and establish sales timelines
- Build target audience bios, demographic income, lifestyle, ethnicities, etc.
- Generate leads from targeted network sources by developing and maintaining relationships outside of the community including but not limited to builders, designers, homeowners, and business owners
- Engage new leads on the phone, on Zoom and at site consultations with the objective of generating a sale
- Visiting current and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
- Manage follow-ups with “hot leads” to assure leads don't go “stale”
- Maintain CRM by collecting and entering information about new leads, creating prompt, creative and personalized correspondences after each meeting
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively and follow-through on projects to successful conversion
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with sensitive client information
- Prepare reports, memos, letters and other documents using Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar
- Works closely and effectively with leadership to keep informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately
- Write, establish, and influence production of SOP's
- Perform site walkthroughs and prepare room-by-room design proposals
- Shadow and train to prepare project proposals through Adobe InDesign
- Shadow and produce Zoom consultation scripts
REQUIRED SKILLS AND PROFICIENCIES -
- Managing, developing and suggesting new lead generation methods
- Literate and organized in note taking with extreme attention to detail
- Help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
- Obtaining deposits and intake balances of payments from new clients
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
- Follow, Manage and Assist in developing project intake procedures to assure Design Team is knowledgeable in new project on-boarding and facilitation of kick-off calls
- Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports providing new clients with required physical marketing materials – yard signs, fence banners, etc.
- Developing tangible marketing items and working with graphic design to provide option based idea boards for design and development
