ARCHITECTURE & CONSTRUCTION SALES REPRESENTATIVE 

Design Appruv, Inc. is a rapidly growing architectural design studio startup looking for a Salesman with an overwhelming entrepreneurial spirit! Our proprietary architectural design process for Residential Remodels, Renovations, and Backyard Homes (Granny Flats/ADUs) emphasizes building code compliance to ensure we can provide seamless and efficient permit processing experience. The ideal candidate must be ready to adapt quickly, keep up with rapid growth, and work amongst a collaborative team of design professionals

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide an exceptional sales experience for each customer. Utilizing existing and assistance in developing unique sales processes and procedures
• Understanding a client's wish list for their projects through critical preliminary examination of their needs, demographics and geography
• Management of 10-15 sales calls daily 
• Organization excellence in organizing daily schedules, managing multiple leads and maintaining communication through to conversion
• Presentational development of proposals and technical documentation for Client
• Communicate effectively with other admin and design staff and supporting design consultants
• Execute weekly on-site consultations with new clients. Set follow-up consultations updating customers on discounts and inquiring with potential clients 
• Determine parameters for architectural design through parcel planning and municipal research 
• Perform code analysis to establish potential design parameters 
• Creating and following our estimating process for potential and existing Client's 
• Creating a sales target and reaching/exceeding set goals weekly, monthly and quarterly
• Thorough understanding of California Building Code and constant research staying up to date with ongoing changes
• Pre-project planning support for administrative team
• Determine parameters for architectural design through parcel planning and municipal research
• Research code analysis to establish potential design parameters

REQUIRED SKILLS & PROFICIENCIES:

• Previous experience in Sales - at least 4 years
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign
• Google Drive, Docs & Sheets
• Microsoft Office Word & Excel
• Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot and TSheets are a plus)

PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree (minimum)

• Architectural Design & Sales Management - (Optional) 2 years of experience with Residential or Commercial Sales

• Proven strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Advanced knowledge of California Building Codes, Construction Types, ADA/FHA

• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

• Reliable form of transportation
