We are hiring for a full-time Design Detailer based in Lincolnwood, Illinois. This role is in office Monday – Friday.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create detailed shop drawings for a variety of different types of projects.
• Work in a collaborative team setting.
• Clearly communicate design intent and technical requirements onto drawings.
• Maintain open and clear communication with the project team.
• Create drawings for design specific parts, ordered from suppliers.
• Create production files for our internal CNC machines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, especially 3D, as well as Microsoft and Google Suites
• Hands on fabrication experience recommended.
• Relevant degree / diploma, professional certification, or equivalent work experience of at least 3 years' detailing in one or more of the following industries: museum exhibit, display, cabinetry / millwork, theater / opera, or themed environments.
• Ability to prioritize and problem solve.
• Understanding of the materials and methods used in a custom fabrication facility.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, especially 3D, as well as Microsoft and Google Suites.2025
• Relevant degree / diploma, professional certification, or equivalent work experience of at least 3 years' detailing in one or more of the following industries: museum exhibit, display, cabinetry / millwork, theater / opera, or themed environments.
• Understanding of the materials and methods used in a custom fabrication facility

Compensation: This position has a starting pay range of $25.00 to $35.00 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
