About the Role:
We’re partnering with a growing contract manufacturer in Union, MO, to find a Sales Engineer who will play a pivotal role in supporting both the estimating and design functions of the sales process. This individual will bridge engineering expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, ensuring accurate quoting, efficient production planning, and successful product outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Estimating & Quoting: Work closely with the sales team to develop accurate quotes for new and existing projects. Analyze customer drawings, specifications, and requirements to create detailed cost estimates.
Product Design: Design new products and modify existing ones based on customer needs, cost targets, and manufacturability.
3D Modeling: Develop precise 3D models using SolidWorks or other CAD software to support design and estimating efforts.
Laser and Punch Programming: Program and optimize CNC laser and punch machines for efficient, high-quality production.
Production Drawings: Generate clear and comprehensive manufacturing drawings from design files.
ERP Utilization: Leverage MieTrak or similar ERP software to manage BOMs, route workflows, track estimates, and maintain project documentation.
Data Harvesting: Analyze historical job data and material usage to improve estimate accuracy and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Salary Transparency: $70,000 - $90,000
