    ** Design Engineer – Power Generation**

    ** Location:** Houston (Travel up to 10%)

    ** Salary:** $100,000 - $160,000+

    Designer / Project Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing global energy service business that is expanding its power generation business unit.

    The Project Designer will be responsible for creating detailed engineering models and drawings for modular power generation packages utilizing reciprocating engines ranging from 500KW to 5MW. Responsibilities include developing fabrication drawings, plot plans for micro-grids, and other design documentation.

    Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 +

    Key Responsibilities:

    · The Designer will create detailed design drawings for structural skids, auxiliary systems, and bill of materials.

    · Collaborate with project engineers, purchasing, and fabrication teams to resolve issues and ensure project continuity.

    · Develop complex plant modular models and generate piping isometric drawings.

    · Work with production teams to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality manufacturing in a safety-sensitive environment.

    · Propose new design ideas to improve cost-efficiency, ease of construction, and customer satisfaction.

    · Implement and ensure adherence to design guidelines.

    · Collect and implement feedback from internal and external stakeholders to enhance designs.

    Requirements:

    · Previous experience as a Designer, Project Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Power Systems Designer, Lead Designer, Modular Power Generation Designer or similar.

    · Experience designing skid-mounted or modular equipment.

    · Experience with power generation packages, enclosures, radiators, and exhaust systems is preferred.

    · Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADWorx, and 3D CAD design with strong visualization skills.

    · Knowledge of drafting standards, P&ID’s, and dimensioning of various drawings.

    · Office-based in Houston with a willingness to travel up to 10%.
