Our client is seeking a Design Engineering Manager to lead and develop a high-performing engineering team within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This individual will play a key role in driving design excellence, improving manufacturability, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate brings both strong technical expertise and proven leadership experience, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, production, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the design and project engineering teams to drive performance and productivity
• Establish and implement design strategies, processes, and best practices
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution
• Drive innovation in design for manufacturability, including oversight of drawings and bills of materials
• Provide technical leadership and resolve complex engineering and design challenges
• Prepare and present design proposals, project updates, and performance metrics to leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
• 8–10 years of experience in engineering design
• 3–5 years of leadership or management experience
• Proficiency with CAD software
• Strong knowledge of applicable industry standards, codes, and regulations
• Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD and Inventor
