    • Operate lift equipment to select material and product from designated areas in warehouse and deliver to proper locations
    • Operate scan guns
    • Unload trailers on docks and locates material in proper areas
    • Communicate specific department strategies with co-workers when necessary or when changes occur
    • Fill out paper work accurately when picking material
    • Follow company safety policies and procedures and good housekeeping practices
    • Keep Manager or Shift Leader informed, on a timely basis, of any safety hazards or problem situations
    • Participate in daily clean up routines to keep warehouse neat and organized; compacts and bales scrap cardboard from department
    • Use the computer system to verify and check on locations
    • Make location changes when needed & accurately completes paper work
    • Locate and return material in proper locations
    • Perform cycle counts
    • Perform any other task necessary for the smooth operation of the department as a whole

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Ability to read, write and do basic math
    • Must be able to operate or trained to operate lift equipment (Forklift)
    • Must be trained and certified by Berwick Offray to operate forklift and related equipment
    • Must be able to do daily maintenance check on lift equipment
    • Must have ability to read move forms and fill out properly and neatly
    • Must have proven ability to work independently and cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors
    • Receptiveness to overtime required
    • Constant walking on cement floors
    • Considerable bending and lifting required (up to 50lbs. on average/10lbs. maximum)
