    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • HR management for all assigned Manufacturing and Distribution locations. Provide HR consultation to department managers and site leaders that optimize use of labor and compliance with company rules and procedures.

    • Responsible for managing employee relations, recruiting, staffing, compensation administration, training and organizational development support for client groups.

    • Ensure stability of workforce through consistent administration of all policies and discipline, open communications with employees and fair and prompt investigation of all employee issues.

    • Partner with department leaders on addressing strategic HR related needs.  This includes consulting in change management, training, organizational design, employee development and management development.

    • Work with department managers on specific employee performance issues or complaints. Ensure compliance with the Handbook and Company Policies and Procedures.  Ensure Performance Management System is utilized.

    • Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws across the company.  Coach other HR professionals on these matters.

    • Develop and implement recruiting plans.

    • Manage staff to achieve business unit goals including hiring new talent and developing and motivating current staff.

     

     QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources and SPHR certification preferred.
    • 5-7 years’ HR experience preferably and 3 years in a managerial level position.
    • Must have solid understanding and application of federal and state employment laws.
    • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality.
    • Prior experience leading and mentoring a team.
    • Demonstrates thought leadership and puts into action creative and forward thinking.
    • Must be analytical and solution-driven with the ability to multi-task.
    • Strong presentation ability and written and verbal communication skills. Including the ability to deliver clear convincing and well-organized presentations, projecting credibility and poise, even in highly visible, adversarial situations.
    • Must be deadline conscious and detail oriented and be able to self-direct priorities.
    • Intermediate Word, Advanced Excel, Intermediate PowerPoint and database management skills required.
