Job Summary
At Art of Drawers, the designers are the lifeblood of the company. They turn the frustration and problems that our clients have with their living spaces into a beautiful enjoyment of their home. Designers focus on the real issues that people are trying to solve, not on selling a product that people don’t need. They conduct in-home consultation appointments with potential clients who want to get the advice, design, and expertise of a designer. Designers are smart, hard workers who understand how to treat people with respect and dignity.
The key quality of a successful designer is a genuine commitment to helping people by educating them on the products and possibilities that make up Art of Drawers’ services.
You'll have the ability to design your own schedule - a great opportunity for anyone with a passion for creativity, solving problems and helping people who is looking for either part-time or a larger time commitment.
This role offers commission-based pay.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-home design appointments
Upload leads, orders, estimates, and client designs/photos promptly
Take client deposits from each sale
Attend and participate in designer training and ongoing training from the Sales Director
Follow up with clients on sales opportunities
Partner with our Installers to ensure jobs are executed smoothly from the design process through the install
Qualifications
Sales experience (in-home sales is a plus!)
Computer skills and the ability to quickly learn our Art of Drawers technology platforms
Strong organizational and oral/written professional communication skills
Friendly, competitive, and driven nature, and the ability to build rapport with clients

We provide the training and you provide the passion and motivation. Compensation: $80.00 - $120.00 per hour
