What YOU Do: The Custom Design Specialist is responsible for prospecting and attracting new clients while developing long-term relationships to drive product sales within residential markets. The Design Specialist will apply their skills to the design of full custom build out media rooms, kitchens, living spaces and more, including products from all Star Companies, particularly focusing on cabinets and flooring.

What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Residential Design (3-5 years Minimum)
Must have luxury cabinet design, multi-flooring and tile experience
Design experience with Kitchen, Bath, Media Rooms, Outdoor spaces and more
Ability to accurately measure residential spaces to produce estimation
Aggressive sales attitude and demonstrated ability to close
ASID/IIDA certified preferred
Time management: Organize and manage multiple priorities/projects with impending deadlines.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to work with internal sales team, builders, developers, various sub-contractors, manufacturers, designers and architects both as a team and/or independently with minimal supervision.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with CRM (Salesforce, FreshSales etc,) and invoicing/project management systems a plus
Education: Associates degree preferred.
