Studio Assistant – Entry Level Location: Stamford Design Center, Stamford, CT Company: Fletcher Wakefield Design Studio Position Type: Full-Time, In-Person

Fletcher Wakefield Design Studio is seeking a highly motivated and personable Studio Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Stamford Design Center. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone eager to begin a career in the interior design industry and grow within our firm.

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about design and excited to learn the ins and outs of the trade. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Placing sample orders with vendors

Tagging and organizing merchandise

Managing shipping and receiving

Maintaining the fabric sample library

Coordinating vendor appointments

Assisting design staff with day-to-day tasks

Greeting and assisting clients in the studio

Ordering office and studio supplies

Social Media

Qualifications:

Strong interest in interior design and home furnishings

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with design software is a plus

Must be able to lift and move materials as needed
