We offer expertise in Systems Design, Schematic Capture and Electronic Packaging / Mechanical Engineering Design, Signal Integrity and High Speed Serial IO (SERDES). We are a digital design engineering services company that contracts with customers to provide technical services and support for FPGA based designs. Our expertise helps customers overcome design challenges in an expedient manner. Typical engagements last between 1 and 8 weeks with potential to travel.

WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING TO EXPAND OUR TEAM OF DESIGN ENGINEERS. FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANTS LOOKING FOR MORE OF A TEAM ATMOSPHERE, LOOK NO FURTHER – GIVE US A CALL. 

This position can be located anywhere in the United States and will need to travel as needed. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work directly with customers to resolve challenging and difficult technical FPGA design issues.
• Provide direct technical support to customers on critical design issues
• engage with the DesignLinx team on FPGA customer design work
• Work with customers to help identify problems and propose appropriate solutions.
• Provide customers advice on alternative design techniques and the implementation of alternative solutions.
• Provide information and data on a variety of FPGA products.

 QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• BS and/or MS Electrical/Computer Engineering
• 5 to 10 years of FPGA Applications/Design experience.
• Outstanding customer interface skills are a must
• Excellent communication skills required
• Must live near a major airport

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE WITH SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:

• FPGA Hardware Design (Xilinx Vivado, IPI)
• Timing closure and design optimization
• Verilog and VHLD, TCL
• High Speed Serial I/O (SERDES / TRANSCEIVERS)
• Memory Interfaces 
• Xilinx Vivado, HLS
• PCIe
