THE ROLE

As the senior finance leader in the US, you report to both the CRO/GM of Americas, and CFO, as part of a Global Finance team “Hub and Spoke” structure. As part of your remit you will need to be able demonstrate the professional maturity to manage effectively the dual reporting structure. You will be responsible for all financial aspects of our business and will manage the company's financial reporting, forecasting, accounting, strategy, and planning. You will also analyze the company's financial performance as well as possible risks and improvements including capital expenditures, operating expense optimizations, and M&A opportunities that may arise. Responsibilities include:

• Partner with the CRO/GM of Americas in the overall management of the business unit specifically including;
  • Reporting and Forecasting financial performance of the BU, and Global Sales performance
  • Supporting decision process of Global Deal Desk with an eye towards optimizing profitability and growth goals

DELIVERABLES FOR THIS ROLE

• Timely delivery of monthly and quarterly financial reports and forecasts
• Quarterly financial forecasts working with senior leaders in the company to accurately predict operating results
• Timely filing of necessary government tax returns and statements as needed
• Provide financial statements to group CFO as needed
• Development of KPIs/MI, profitability analysis, deal support, collaboration with finance colleagues on systems development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years' experience working as a Controller, Finance Director or other similar position
• Extensive experience managing corporate finance and accounting principles
• Solid experience with financial analysis and forecasting
• Excellent knowledge of financial laws and best practices
• Good practical experience with MS Office and financial management software
• Strong analytical, strategic, organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• BS or BA degree in accounting, finance or relevant field; Advanced degree a plus
• CPA or other relevant certification preferred
