    We're immediately hiring a BILINGUAL KOREAN ACCOUNTANT to join the team in Burbank, CA. As the Accountant, you will partner with the Accounting Manager on the development, interpretation, and implementation of complex financial and accounting concepts, financial planning and internal controls. You will develop financial reports, will support the monthly and quarterly accounting close process, and will work closely with other team members to build accurate and timely financial reporting.  They work in an environment that stresses exceptional customer service and values team members with a desire to learn and grow.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Facilitate and complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures
    • Prepare and review of various journal entries and account reconciliations; identify problems and support day-to-day operations
    • Assist in preparation of financial statements
    • Maintain adequate internal controls within the accounting processes to ensure well documented, accurate and timely financial reporting
    • Analyze monthly general ledger account activity, journal entries, and variances to forecast.
    • Review, track and report monthly capex spend, WIP and depreciation
    • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures, including automation of manual processes
    • Assist in preparation of annual budget
    • Assist in preparation of audit work papers for year-end audits with external auditors
    • Act as the first point of contact for other departments by offering solutions in accordance with accounting policy
    • Understand complex data architecture and interpret data trends
    • Assist with analysis and ad-hoc reporting
    • Perform other duties/projects as assigned
    • Assist with forecasting revenue, expense and cash flows
    • Assist in developing policies and operational procedures for non-standard transactions that flow through several systems, including non-accounting systems
    • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing processes and ensure all members of the team are properly cross-trained

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelors in Accounting/Finance required
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and full Accounting Cycle
    • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience in a corporate/enterprise setting; CPA certification is a plus
    • Must be software savvy and able to reconcile data between multiple systems
    • Expert MS Excel skills – i.e. vlookups, pivots, sumifs
    • Exceptional critical thinking skills with great attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
    • Flexible, strategic team player with high integrity and ethical standards, who is also able and willing to be extremely “hands-on”
    • Must be proficient in MS Office and G Suite platforms
